Highlights

• Create your own painting with step-by-step guidance
• Taste Latvian wines and local snacks during the workshop
• Small group experience in a cozy Old Riga studio

Description

Discover a unique creative experience in the heart of Old Riga that combines painting, local culture, and authentic Latvian flavors. This 2–3 hour workshop takes place in a cozy studio on Tirgoņu Street 9, where you will enjoy a guided painting session together with a tasting of Latvian berry wines and locally produced snacks. The experience is designed for beginners and requires no prior painting skills. During the workshop, you will create your own artwork (30×40 cm canvas) inspired by Latvian nature – the Baltic Sea, forests, and misty meadows. A professional instructor will guide you step by step, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable process. Alongside painting, you will taste two glasses of Latvian wine, such as rhubarb dry white wine and lingonberry sweet red wine, paired with local snacks including traditional crackers, cheese wafers, and sweets from Latvian producers. The experience is held in small groups of up to 8 participants to ensure a personal atmosphere and individual attention. All materials are included – canvas, paints, brushes, and apron. This workshop is ideal for travelers looking for an authentic, creative, and relaxing activity in Riga. Regular sessions take place on the second and last Sunday of each month at 14:00. Additional dates and larger groups are available upon request.
