Rundale Palace, located in Pilsrundāle, 12 km west of Bauska, is one of Latvia's two major baroque palaces built for the Dukes of Courland. Constructed in two phases (1736–1740 and 1764–1768), it represents significant 18th-century architecture alongside Jelgava Palace.
