Your visit begins at the Turaida Museum Reserve, showcasing exhibitions on archaeology, culture, and art dating back to the 11th century. Climb the red-brick castle tower for panoramic views and walk the open-air heritage site while learning about historical figures like Kaupo.
Next, you may choose to take an optional cable car ride over the Gauja Valley (ticket not included). From 43 meters high, enjoy expansive views during the 1,020-meter journey across the valley.
