Your guide and driver will meet you in Riga for a 35-minute drive to Sigulda, located in the Gauja valley. Known as 'the Switzerland of Latvia,' Sigulda offers scenic landscapes and historic sites. The tour begins with a walk through Sigulda, followed by visits to Gutman's Cave and the Turaida reservoir (entrance included).
Next, you will continue to the medieval town of Cesis, where the cobblestone streets, red-tiled roofs, and preserved medieval buildings reflect its historical heritage. The tour concludes with a return to Riga in the late afternoon.
At an additional cost and subject to availability, you can experience a bobsleigh ride on one of Eastern Europe’s largest bobsleigh tracks in Sigulda.
