In 1920, the government of Latvia united all the villages into one, it was called Rigas Jurmala - which translates as the Riga sea coast. Jūrmala, a city and health resort in Latvia, is well known for its natural treasures - healing mud, mineral waters and pine forests. The almost 25 km of white sandy beach, which is well maintained, will give everyone an undisturbed place for sunbathing and sea bathing. One of the main and oldest streets in Jurmala, Jomas Street is a popular place for holidaymakers to stroll and dine after a pleasant swim on the sunny beach. Jūrmala is home to one of the largest heritage of historic wooden architecture in Latvia - 103 monuments of national importance and 295 monuments of local importance, which are worth admiring during a walk. We recommend walking along Jūras Street, where some of the most beautiful houses are located. Our tour consists of two parts: First part - way to Jurmala. You will hear in your audio-guide different interesting things about the city where we are going. Already inside Jurmala - audio-guide will tell you some historical facts about buildings, and will show you the beautiful architecture. The bus will take you to Majori Station, from where you will start the tour's second part. Second part - spare time 3.5 hours for walking through pine forest, to visit the most popular Jomas street, if you bring swimwear, you can swim in the sea and sunbathe. The bus will be waiting for you until 17:00, and then we are going back to the starting point in Riga.Includes

- Jūrmala is the largest resort town in Latvia, about 25 kilometres west of Riga. The city covers an area of 100 km2. Jurmala stretches for 25 km along the Gulf of Riga and the Lielupe River. We offer you a 5-6 hour tour. The audio guide will accompany you on the way there and back. You’ll also have 3 hours to explore the city’s villas and magnificent architecture on your own. If you’re tired and have your swimming costumes with you, you can spend some time enjoying the cool sea water.
